Stacey didn’t walk into the gym because she loved fitness. She came because something didn’t feel right anymore.
She’s a full-time working mum of two young children, living a life that will sound familiar to many. Busy days, constant demands, and very little time that was truly her own. Like many parents, she found herself pouring energy into everyone else while quietly drifting further away from looking after herself.
There wasn’t a dramatic moment that forced change. It was more of a creeping realisation. She has spoken about being “in the trenches” of motherhood and everyday life, trying to keep everyone happy while her own confidence and identity slowly slipped into the background.
Her body had changed after having children. Her energy had dipped. More importantly, she didn’t feel like the person she used to be. She didn’t want to reach her thirties and forties feeling disconnected from herself, and that became the point where something needed to shift.
Stacey didn’t start because she was chasing a number on the scales. She started because she wanted to feel strong again. She wanted to feel capable in her own body, to rebuild confidence, and to be proud of how she showed up for herself. After having children, she reached a point where she knew she needed to refocus on her own wellbeing. Not out of vanity, but out of self-respect.
Before joining, fitness wasn’t something that felt consistent or accessible. Like many busy adults, time was tight and motivation came and went. Exercise had become one of those things that always got pushed down the priority list. Work needed attention. Family needed attention. Everything else came first. Without structure or support, it’s easy for weeks to turn into months, and months into years.
Through consistent coaching and support, Stacey began rebuilding more than just strength. Yes, her body shape changed. She’s a stone lighter now while having built muscle, and using tools like the InBody scans helped her track real progress, including losing fat around her trunk.
But the numbers only tell part of the story.
She talks about feeling stronger and more capable again. Coaching gave her structure in a season of life that often feels chaotic. It gave her accountability when motivation wasn’t always there, and it gave her a space where she wasn’t just a mum, an employee, or someone meeting everyone else’s needs.
She was Stacey again.
The biggest shift hasn’t just been physical. It’s been in how she feels. Stronger. More in control. Proud of what she’s achieved.
Her journey is a reminder that progress doesn’t come from waiting for life to calm down. It comes from deciding that even in a busy life, you’re still worth the time and effort. And sometimes, having the right support around you is what makes that possible.
